The Chop House Policies
The Chop House at the Midland Hotel is a full-service restaurant open to the public as well as Hotel Guests. The Hotel has outdoor dining on the front and back patios with a limited menu. Reservations are available by calling 254-796- CHOP (2467).
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Saturday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Payment: The Chop House accepts cash, VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express
Gifts Certificates: Gift Certificates for the restaurants may be purchased from the Chop House or Midland Hotel staff. These must be redeemed within 1 year of purchase.
Menu is available on the website, as well as The Midland Hotel Lobby.
The Chop House also houses 2 private rooms available for reservation.
- The Hico Room seats approximately 50 people and is located on the main floor. This room may be reserved for $200.00, with a non-refundable deposit of $100.00.
- The Midland Room seats approximately 30 people and is located behind the 1896 Saloon Club on the main floor. This room is WiFi accessible, with computer, projector and large TV if needed. Great for small conferences, wedding parties, anniversaries, and gradation parties. This room may be reserved for $100.00, with a non-refundable deposit of $50.00.
The entire Midland Hotel is available for rent for $2,500.00, plus room charges and applicable taxes. Daily rate is 3:00 PM-10:00 AM. A non-refundable deposit of $2,500.00 is required at the time of booking, and will be credited to your final bill. This includes the usage of The Chop House, 1896 Saloon, and the 2 private meeting rooms. These quotes are for facility charges only. Additional charges for food, alcohol, staff, cleaning will be charged based on usage at final billing. Applicable sales and lodging taxes will be on final bill.
The maximum capacity of the Hotel is 42 persons. Additional guests above the designated number allowed per room, will be charged $50.00 per person, plus applicable taxes.
