The Chop House 


The Chop House at the Midland Hotel is a Scratch Kitchen/Texas Steakhouse with a French-Creole Influence,

located in the 1st floor of the Midland Hotel Property. 

Hours of Operation:
Thursday-Saturday 11-3 Lunch Service
Thursday-Saturday 5-9 Dinner Service
Sunday 11-3 Lunch-Brunch Service

  
Reservations are Recommended for Dinner Service and All Parties of 5 or  More  Guests for all Meal Services.  Please call to make any and all reservations for Lunch, Dinner & Lunch-Brunch Services at the Chop House at (254)796-4426.

Outside Food or Drink is Not Allowed in the Chop House.  All Outside Food Items Must Be Approved Upon Entry to the Chop House(Cakes/Desserts).

Special Announcement
The Chop House will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 27th, 2025 in  Celebration of Thanksgiving and to spend time with friends and family.  We will REOPEN The Chop House for Regular Hours on Friday, November 28th starting at 11:00AM for Lunch Service. 
Thank You for this time off to spend with our loved ones! It means a lot!  But in the mean time...............

Holiday Pick Up/ Take Out Menu for Thanksgiving this Year!! 
ALL ORDERS must be ordered at least 1 Week Prior to Thanksgiving and Pick Up Times will need to be arranged from Sunday, November 23rd thru Wednesday, November 26th.  The Chop House will not be Open on Thanksgiving Day for any pick ups.

A Credit Card Will Be Required to Place an Order.  Your Card Will Be Charged Prior to Pick Up.  No Cancellations Accepted after 10 Days Prior to Thanksgiving.  Any Orders Not Pick Up or Not Cancelled Will Be Donated To a Hico Family In Need.

Pick Up will have to be at least 1 Day prior to Thanksgiving Day.  Pick Up Times Will Be Scheduled to Ensure Timely Pick Up For Everyone.
