Booking Policies
AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY- Guests must be 18 years or older with valid government issued identification to reserve and to check in to a guest room. CANCELLATION POLICY:
TWO WEEK Cancellation Notice/Policy for all rooms. If not cancelled before TWO WEEKS, your card will be charged the full amount.
Please Call (254)796-4426 if you are unsure of your cancellation policy for the night or weekend that you are booking.
GENERAL DISCLOSURE- Smoking, Cooking or Pets of any kind and any other general damages to all items in rooms will be charged to the credit card on file.
OCCUPANCY POLICY- Rooms have specific bed-space/adult occupancy. Roll-away beds, cribs, microwaves and refrigerators are not available. Early Check-Ins are available at $20/Hour for check-ins earlier than 3:00pm.
Check-in / out policies
Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.For all hotel rooms booked on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, a lock box is required for your check-in and available by reservation only. You will receive lock box information as soon as your room is ready for check-in and can key yourself in. Please call for these instructions at (254)796-4426.

Alcohol Policy- Alcoholic Beverage Service is restricted to those 21 years and older with valid identification. Alcoholic Beverages must be consumed in designated areas at all times.
Special Events Policies- The Midland Hotel may enforce special event policies over high-demand dates, such as some holidays, festivals, or other city-areawide events. Some of these events include Texas Steak Cookoff (May, 2 night required), The Old-Settler’s Reunion (July), Holiday Open House, Christmas Parade Weekend, Mother's & Father's Day Weekend, NYE Weekend, Wine & Art Festival, Billy the Kid Film Festival, Billy the Kid Book Festival, Halloween Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, Memorial Weekend, Labor Day Weekend,Tarleton Graduation (May and December), Bacon Bash, Rodeos, Wedding Weekends and many more. Room cancellation policy are subject to change during local & areawide events.

As with all major events, the city may opt to close specific streets which can result in traffic delays during evening hours. Please allow extra time when traveling to and from the hotel. Hotel parking is limited and is made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

PET POLICY- The hotel is 100% Pet Free. We are sorry that we are not able to accommodate pets at this time. Only Service Animals Covered by Title III of the ADA will be allowed on property.
SMOKING POLICY- The hotel is 100% smoke free. There are designated smoking areas outside of the building. A $200 per day cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the hotel.
COOKING POLICY- Absolutely NO cooking apparatus of any kind or sort are allowed in any rooms. This is a Fire Hazard.
Gift Certificates- Please contact the hotel directly at 254-796- HICO (4426) to purchase gift certificates.
Cash Payment- If paying with cash; a card must be on file to cover any damages and violations of room policies.
