Booking Policies

AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY- Guests must be 18 years or older with valid government issued identification to reserve and to check in to a guest room.

CANCELLATION POLICY- 48 HOURS in advance for a full refund for all NON Holiday & Festival Weekends. If not cancelled before 48 hours, your card will be charged the full amount.
2 WEEK Cancellation Notice for ALL Holiday and Festival Weekends.  If not cancelled before 2 weeks, your card will be charged the full amount.

GENERAL DISCLOSURE- Smoking, pets and any other general damages to all items in room will be charged to the credit card on file. 

OCCUPANCY POLICY- Rooms have specific bed-space/adult occupancy. Roll-away  beds and cribs are not available. Early Check-Ins are available at $20/Hour for check-ins earlier than 3:00pm.

Check-in / out policies

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 11:00 AM. 

General Policies

ADA Policy- ADA compliant guest rooms are available and should be reserved in advance. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

Alcohol Policies- Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification). Alcoholic beverages must be consumed within designated areas.

Special Events Policies- The Midland Hotel may enforce special event policies over high-demand dates, such as some holidays, festivals, or other citywide events. Some of these events include Texas State Cookoff (May, 2 night required), The Old-Settler’s Reunion (August), and Graduation (May and December). Room cancellation policy are subject to change during local events. 

Event policies can include pre-payment/non- cancelable requirements for room reservations. For the safety and security of all hotel guests, access to guest floors during special events is limited to registered guests. During special events, registered guests are issued wristbands. 

As with all major events, the city may opt to close specific streets which can result in traffic delays during evening hours. Please allow extra time when traveling to and from the hotel. Hotel parking is limited and is made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pet Policy- The hotel is 100% pet free. We are sorry that we are not able to accommodate pets at this time.

Smoking Policy- The hotel is 100% smoke free. There are designated smoking areas outside of the building. A $200 per day cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the hotel.

Payment Policies

Debit / Credit Cards- Debit and Credit cards will be charged at check-in for the amount of your stay. A card must be on file to cover incidentals. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Gift Certificates- Please contact the hotel directly at 254-796- HICO (4426) to purchase gift certificates.

Cash Payment- If paying with cash; a card must be on file  to cover any damages and violations of room policies. 

Identification-  Valid Identification must be presented upon check in. 

Special Messages

Wi-Fi Availability- Free guest Wi-Fi is available to all guests of the Hotel, Restaurant and Saloon.

After Hours- Please contact the Manager on Duty.
